The Elevated Express: three ads: No More Standing In Line; The Subway or "L" Ride is Still a Nickel; Fire Proof
Context
Lee's Subway Sun and Elevated Express, newspaper-style posters for subway stations and trains, contained no direct advocacy of the management's position but subtly suggested ways the passengers could improve service. The spirit of sharing problems and solutions did much to increase goodwill toward the company.
