Lucy Wallace was a woman who wore many hats. She was an active member of the Parent Teacher's Association, a photographer, and a published author. She wrote articles for the Valley Morning Star, McAllen Monitor, Brownsville Herald, and the Mission Enterprise. She had a long career as a journalist. In addition, she also served as president of the Texas Women's Press Association, helped organize the Valley By-Liners, and was a charter member of the Hidalgo County Historical Commission.Collection
