Place Description

A historic Palestinian hamlet in the Acre subdistrict, situated on a ridge in the Upper Galilee near Tarbikha and al-Nabi Rubin, amid a mountainous landscape containing ancient architectural remains, rock-cut cisterns, and archaeological fragments. Its agricultural landscape included cereals, olives, and orchard and irrigated cultivation, with livestock raising also forming part of rural life; Mandate agricultural statistics were recorded jointly for Suruh, Tarbikha, and al-Nabi Rubin.
