Place Description

A historic Palestinian village in the Acre subdistrict, situated in the mountainous Upper Galilee near the Lebanese border, amid a rugged landscape of hills, valleys, and cultivated terraces. Its agricultural landscape included cereals, olives, and irrigated and plantation crops, together with livestock raising, while the Mandate agricultural statistics combined its lands with those of the nearby hamlets of al-Nabi Rubin and Suruh.
