Place Description

A historic Palestinian town in the Acre subdistrict, situated in the mountainous western Galilee approximately 15 km east of the Mediterranean coast, within a landscape of hills and valleys overlooking the northern Acre plain. Its agricultural landscape included cereals, olives, grapes, figs, and other fruit, with cultivated terraces and orchards extending across the surrounding hills, while Tarshiha served as an important regional market and service center for the surrounding villages.
