Notes

Shortly after joining my uni women's football team in 2013, I began identifying as genderqueer, changed my name + pronouns to they/them. In 2015 I began testrosterone. Between this time and 2023 (when I began playing with Hastings Rec FC) I barely played football. This shirt represents my personal journey in overcoming my own fears as well as society's barriers to trans inclusion in sport.
