A Deed of Trust; A History of the Hoffman Farm, by John Hoffman and Marian Hoffman, with illustrations by Walt Hoffman, Traces ownership of the land back to the Wappo Indians, through the Mexican period, to modern times. Owners of the property up to 1949 included Salvador Vallejo, George and Nancy Grigsby, George W. Crowey, George Bernhard, Paul and Frank Rossi. Details development of the farm and farm buildings, agricultural crops, natural history, and family history. Illustrated with original linocuts and with photocopies of photographs, maps, documents, etc.
