Description

Color photograph of the bridge on Atlas Peak Road. Back of photo states: "This is a bridge to visit. Very few will travel across it on a regular basis as the area is sparsely populated. There is easy access. At this time there is no water flowing under it; only a few pools are visible under the bridge waiting fall rains to get them moving again. The plaque which might have been given some identity to the bridge was missing. I have heard that numerous bicyclists in training will bicycle across this bridge on their way to the top of Atlas Peak Road-a challenging workout. I passed one such bicyclist near the Silverado Country Club as I was driving to make the photograph. This bridge is in a remote area very near Circle S. Ranch." Location: PF 138
