Served in the Pacific theather Upon discharge took a job as truck driver for the Dept of Forestry in Napa Worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard as fireman and truck driver for 17 yrs Drove for C-Line Trucking as member of Teamsters Union Local 490 Worked for Napa County Road Dept before retirement Survived by children Bob Jr, Susanne Heath & Shannon L. Barker, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter Predeceased by wife Doris Barker in 2000, and daughter Paulette Clark in 1977 Services held at the Chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service Interment at Yountville Cemetery
