Published in the Napa Valley Register 1/21/94 Catherine Dianna Barton Died to complication due to breast cancer, age 46 Born 3/10/1947 in Sonoma to Hershel Andrew & Louise Rebottaro Scroggins Raised in Bakersfield and Napa areas Graduated from Napa HS in 1964 After 1 yr of junior college, worked at Mare Island Moved to San Diego area in 1967 Returned to Vallejo in 1978 Began work for Chevron USA in 1980 For the last 8 yrs, she worked in the central tool room Survived by daughter Lessa Renee Barton, mother Louise Scroggins, brother Gene Scroggins, sister Fran Smith, grandson Michael Anthony Arriola, 1 niece, 1 great-niece, aunts, uncles, cousins and friend Ginny Thornton Miles, with whom she was staying during her illness Predeceased by her father Interment at Tulocay Cemetery
