Photograph of beads sorted into pie tins and muffin tins on a table. The beads were recovered from a Wappo burial site when digging began to build a reservoir. The beads were found near Big Ranch Road in 1971 and 1972 and are documentation of what later became a case of grave robbery. The Napa County Coroner's Office investigated the case in 1992 to decide whether to seek a criminal indictment or ask for a voluntary return of artifacts and skeletal remains.
