Published in the Napa Valley Register 3/31/04 Dorothy Black, Napa Died 3/23/04 in her Napa home Lived most of hr life in Napa Born 10/19/1922 in Shawnee OK Moved to Enid OK as a small child w/ her parents and 3 siblings After graduating HS in Enid, she moved to Petaluma in 1941 w/ her family, where her father worked as a blacksmith Married William Grant in 1946. They moved to Boston, where he was from. Then they came back to CA and lived in Napa Upon her return, she started working for Eddie Mayfield Insurance. After many yrs, Eddie sold her insurance to Ed Brovelli, where Dorothy continued to work for many yrs Divorced after ~ 20 yrs of marriage Married Lowell Black in 1967. He was from NV. He was a successful realtor in Napa Survived by brother Troy Waltrip, nieces Vicki Heminger, Sharon Puffer, Kathy Atherton, Karen Goez and nephew Gary Waltrip, great-nieces/nephews Jennifer & Brian Heminger, Kris Cole, Debbie Puffer, Alexis Atherton, Casey, Perry, Shelby & Cory Waltrip, stepdaughter Dottie Keller, stepson Bill Black, dear friend Martha Brown Predeceased by Eileen Craven & Imogene Noble, parents Troy & Mida Waltrip Donations to "The Table" at First Presbyterian Church in Napa
