Description

History of California and its inhabitants. This is the fourth of four volumes--the "California Biography" section. The index to all four volumes is found at the beginning of each copy of Vol. 1 and are identified by volume #. In Volumes III and IV, however, there is no separate index of the people bio'd and the subjects are not listed in alpha order. Inside copy 1 of Vol. IV (this book) is a list entitled, "Index of Napa Related Men." Their names are entered herein for Vols. III AND IV, although the majority of those names probably are found only in Vol. IV.
