Description

Black and white photograph of six people on ship. Back of photograph states "1 Pat (Stoddard) Gasser (Mrs. Peter-Vernice), 2, 3 Virginia Bush, 4 Al Streblow (Basalt Rock Co, 5 Peter Gasser, 6 Mrs. Bush (Virginia's step mother & sister of her own mother) Mrs. Bush headed Napa's Red Cross from WW 1 through Ww 2. Virginia's Grandfather was a State Assemblyman or Senator. I saw documents & pictures of the above as I often visited their home as a child. She attended my weddin gin 1940 so I also knew the family as an adult. They told me that the deed to their property included the Spanish grant & extended from the Doughty property on Trancas Ave. (next to Napa River) to Silverado Trail across from the Noyes property. Information by Margaret Clark Hoover"
