Scope and Content

One of 12 binders from Brad Kirkpatrick relating to Pope Valley history. Contains a manuscript titled "Along the Road to the Springs," Revised August 1963. Contains hand drawn maps/diagrams and handwritten notes or edits to the text. There are also supplemental photocopies of newspaper articles that have not been scanned. On page 34 the manuscript switches from typed to handwritten for the following 18 pages. Notes at the end. Pages 2015.19.1.1 - 2015.19.1.54. No authors appear to be listed. Separated into parts I: From the Silverado Trail to Priest Springs, II: From Conn Valley Store to Old Pope Valley, III: From Old Pope Valley to Walter's Springs, IV: From Walter Springs to Samuel Springs, V: From the Junction of Hardin Road with the Pope Canyon Road to Guillame Springs, and VI: From Old Pope Valley to Woodward's Resort.
