Map of Lake Berryessa From Binder: Monticello (1 of 2)Entry/Object ID
2015.19.9.15Description
From one of 12 binders from Brad Kirkpatrick relating to Pope Valley history.
Pink binder containing photocopies with notes, newspaper articles, letters, ephemeral documents, and photographs. The photocopies with notes, photographs, and original documents have been scanned. So have some of the older significant newspaper articles, in case they are difficult to obtain from other sources. Many of the newspaper articles are annotated with notes as well, but they have not been scanned due to their large volume and relative accessibility. Many of the newspaper articles cover the flooding of Monticello and history of the town, however some articles also concern the water rights, sale of the dam, and other issues that arose after the creation of Lake Berryessa.
There is also a brief section at the end of the binder that discusses Wooden Valley.Collection
