Black and white portrait of Bob Even, member/volunteer of Alert Hose Cart Co. Napa. On back it is written: "This is Robert (Bob) Evens. He did some work in the Even and Even Butcher Shop, worked in a cleaning establishment, but for many years worked for Abe Straus' men's clothing store and took over the management of the store when Abe, who had a stroke, was unable to do anything. When Abe died he left Bob a large part of the estate. Bob was member of the Alerts Horse Cart Company (volunteers) for years. --Rita Harren Bordwell" Location: PF 22A
