One Royal typewriter (serial no. SX 1499153) being approximately from the 1930s. Said typewriter was used at the Goodman Library when Mrs. Ella Pimentel was the assistant to Wilheimina Boke. The was used from approximately 1950 - 1978 by Mr. and Mrs. J. L. "Speed" Hervieux of the Napa Book Company on Main Street, Napa, Ca. Mrs. Hervieux is the former Jean Martine who was the first accredited graduate libarian hired by the City of Napa to head the Childrens Department and to bring the Goodman Library to American Library Association Standards.
