The vineyard was bought by Winiarski in 1986. Winiarski is offering an unusual and historic item, valued at $3500 and rumored to go for at least three times that amount to the Napa Valley Wine Auction June 14 including two 8 liter bottles of 1998 [1988?] and 1990 Sw/ Fay [?] made from grapes from Stags Leap and Fay Vineyards. The successful bidder + five friends will also have dinner + conservation with some of the most influential winemakers & leaders [?] in the Industry, including Jim Allen (Sequoia Grove,) Joseph Heitz (Heitz Wine Cellars,) Frank Mahoney (Carneros Creeek), Peter Mondavi (Charles Krug) and Jim Mondavi (Vichon)"
