(American, 1932 - 2020) Lloyd Lillie was a highly regarded and beloved New England Artist and teacher. His work has remained consistent throughout his career, in which he focused on numerous, important historical figures commissions in cast bronze, occasionally cast resin, and one in terra cotta. His full figure, life-sized sculptures can be found in Boston, Falmouth, and Quincy, MA; St. Louis, MO; Hardy and Richmond, VA; Washington, DC ; Baltimore, MD ; Nashua, NH ; Chilpancingo, Mexico; and Istanbul, Turkey. The many commissioned works, created by Lillie, are of historical figures important to the areas and sites in which they were placed.
