Artist
Diane Davis DubreuilNotes
(American) Diane Dubreuil was raised in Maine spent a great deal of time in the out-of-doors. Her interest in art and “plein air” painting began at an early age and has continued throughout her adult life. “Nothing refreshes my spirit as quickly as a few hours outside. Quiet observation of nearly any scene, helps me learn about a place and the people that frequent it. Painting en plein air adds to that experience. I meet the most interesting people who tell me about their towns, their families and their homes. It’s a great opportunity for sharing, and I love that my art is a catalyst for that.” Diane is currently lives in New Milford, CT. She is a signature member of the International Plein Air Painters WORLDWIDE, is a juried member of the New England Watercolor Society, a member of the CT Plein Air Painters, a member of the NH Plein Air Painters, member of the Plein Air Painters of Maine, and several local CT and ME art organizations. She and her husband spend much of their time between Connecticut and Maine. She continues to work commercially, demonstrates watercolor painting, and teaches workshops.
