Bogen Speaker System

Description

Founded in 1932, the Bogen brand focuses on telephone paging systems, commercial audio, and sophisticated communications systems for education and commercial markets.

Context

Harold Keller, Mount Joy, PA, ordered this Bogen Speaker System in 1965 from the Missouri Auction School. Together the Amplifier, speakers, and microphone cost $147.55. Keller used the system for 10 years. This Bogen PA amplifier may have been intended for public address, but nowadays it's quite common to see it used as a kicking guitar amplifier or a tube hi-fi amp.
