- Washington Auctioneers Make Plans for 1971 (p. 15) The Washington State Auctioneers Association held its annual meeting in Pasco on December 13, electing Orville Sherlock as President and planning a major Fun Auction event for May 1971 in Ellensburg.
- Florida Auctioneers Complete Fourth Year (p. 26) The Florida Auctioneers Association held its fourth annual meeting at Lakeland on December 13, electing G. G. "Jerry" Finnell as 1971 President and voting to reduce annual meetings from four to two.
- Across the Country (pp. 27, 28) Editor Bernard Hart salutes the Virginia Auctioneers Association for repeated Building Fund generosity, profiles outgoing Tennessee SAA Secretary E. B. Fulkerson's decade of service, and notes Glenn Kreuscher's appointment as Nebraska Director of Agriculture.
