By Jan Merritt, with Hart’s resignation letter reproduced within the article. Merritt reviews Hart’s growth of the NAA from 777 members and virtually no bank balance to an organization of roughly 4,000 members. She describes the headquarters-building project, fundraising, the seminar program, and the production of an NAA promotional film. Hart’s letter says his resignation will take effect once a replacement is selected and ready to assume the duties.

A detailed schedule for the Louisville convention at the Galt House.
