Description
Hand-written letter on Sagamore Hill stationery on January 26, 1931, to Mrs. Maud Hull. Edith Roosevelt tells her that she has worn black for many years, but she sends a "scrap left over from White House days." [Mrs. Hull was asking her to send her fabric to make a dress for a doll.] Fabric is a silver/green shade with a gold brocade. One edge has lace along it - may be a sleeve piece. Stitching along two longer edges, shortest edge is just cut.
