One page typed letter on "The White House Washington" stationery to Harry on December 7, 1941. States she will be leaving for Los Angeles the next day to go up the west coast for civil defense business. Doesn't think she'll be able to get home in time to go to the theatre. Counting on seeing him at Christmas. Signed in blue ink, "E. R." and written underneath in blue ink, "What a world!"
