The Autobiography of Eleanor Roosevelt is a 1961 memoir that combines her three previous autobiographical works (This Is My Story, This I Remember, and On My Own) into a single volume, chronicling her life from her childhood through her time as First Lady, and her later work as a diplomat and humanitarian at the United Nations, where she chaired the committee that drafted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The book offers a candid look at her personal development and her active role in championing civil rights, women's rights, and social welfare during transformative decades in American history.Collection
