Description

One large piece of gold-edged paper folded in half and front of envelope with free frank "J. Q. Adams" attached in the inside of fold. Letter is written on front and back of folded paper. Louisa Adams letter to her brother-in-law, Nathaniel Frye, on October 14, 1847. There is an embossment on the upper right corner of the first page.
