Description

The front of the postcard is a black and white photograph of the interior of the rink; disco ball on the ceiling; hanging down from the ceiling are short, horizontal banners with figures on them in various different roller skating poses; on the back wall is an illustration of a moon with a starry sky next to it with dancing roller skating figures on either side of the moon; the rink itself is empty; white plaque-like shape at the bottom with "Braddock Heights Roller Rink" in black print within it; "37273" in white ink in the bottom left-hand corner. Everything printed on the back of the postcard is in black: left-hand side: "Braddock Heights Roller Rink / Braddock Heights, Md. on top of Catoctin / Mt. in Braddock Heights Park. U.S. Route / 40. Plastic Skating Surface of 8000 square / feet. O.W. Rosenberry, Jr., Mgr."; up the middle: "Pitco-Cards—Kaesar & Blair, Cincinnati, Ohio"; right-hand side (very obscured): "Post Card" in large print. There is stamped text on the right-hand side, but since most of that side is ripped up, very little of the text is visible besides "Joni Mulback / ...West 21st Street" (in black).
