The front of the postcard is a black and white photograph of Claude M. Lowe with two cars advertising the rink; on the front of one of the cars is an illustration of what appears to be a couple roller skating together; many children are pictured in the photograph. Everything on the back is in faded black print: "Post Card" in large print at the two; two sections: "Correspondence" and "Address"; postage stamp area in the upper right-hand corner with the letters "A", "Z", and "O", as well as triangles in the corners, making up the area's border. Written on the back of the postcard in pencil is some context for the photograph on the front: "Hiawatha, Kansas 1917 / Advertising Rink / CM Lowe".Collection
