1981.015.085Description
The front of the postcard has a color illustration of a couple walking together; both figures have pale skin and happy expressions on their faces; their arms are intertwined. The brown-haired woman is wearing a pinkish orange and black cap with a black blouse, orange gloves, a pinkish orange dress, and black flats. The black-haired man is wearing a white hat with a black band around it, a blue suit jacket and pants, and black shoes. The background behind the couple is split diagonally in half where the top half is blue and the bottom half is pale yellow; partially behind the woman is a white circle with the text "Come on let's go" printed in black within it. The couple is walking towards a pale orange sign, with white detailing around it, that says "Roller Rink" in white print within it. Below the man's feet is "We use and Recommend "Chicago" Roller Skates" printed in blue. Below both of the couple's feet, in large orange print, is "Roller Skating" with a bank space for rink name below it. Below the blank space in the bottom left-hand corner is "©CRSCO-1932" and in the bottom right-hand corner is "Printed in U.S.A."; both are in small black print.
Everything printed on the back is in black: up the middle: "20M-5-36"; right-hand side: "This Side for Address Only" next to a postage stamp area with the text "Place One Cent Stamp Here" within it.Collection
