The front of the postcard is a black and white illustration of a woman, a calf, and a boy ice skating together. The woman is wearing a fur hat, a scarf, a striped jacket, a skirt with circles on it, a hand muff, stockings, a white petticoat, and black shoes with ice skates strapped on. The boy is wearing a floppy hat as well as a jacket, a sweater, mittens, pants, and ice skates. Only the calf's front half is visible on the postcard with only one leg showing (this hoof has an ice skate on it). In the bottom left-hand corner "Get On To The Fatted Calf With The Skates On." is printed in black; the illustration has a red and blue striped border around it. Circa 1910.
Everything on the back of the post card is in faded black print: "Post Card" is at the top in large fancy print; two sections: "For Correspondence" and "For Address Only"; postage stamp area in upper right-hand corner: "Place Stamp Here. / United States and Canada One Cent. / Foreign, Two Cents.".Collection
