Description

The front of the postcard is a color photograph of the front exterior of the Roll-A-Rena. Everything printed on the back of the postcard is in black: left-hand side: "Guptill's Arena / One of the Finest Rollerskating Arenas in the East. Accommodates 1000 Skaters—Open All Year. 36,000 Square Feet Floor Space. / Saratoga Rd., 2 Miles North of Latham's Traffic Circle"; up the middle: "Souder Calendar Co., Albany, N.Y." with an oval logo with the text "Made by Yorkolor Process / New York 12" printed in it as well as "YL9429" printed below the logo; right-hand side: "Post Card" as well as a postage stamp area in the upper right-hand corner. Handwritten cursive note in blue ink on left-hand side: "Our home rink". Stamped reddish pink text on right-hand side: "John Eisel / 575 7th Avenue / Troy, N.Y. / Member U.R.S.S.E.".
