Description

The front of the postcard has two color illustrations of the outside and inside of the rink; the illustration of the inside depicts an empty rink; in the lower left-hand corner is a map showing where the rink is located and in the upper right-hand corner is "Hoffman's Skateland / 1335 Central Avenue / Albany, N.Y. / Tel. 8-9090" in black print. Everything on the back of the postcard is in blue print: left-hand side: "Hoffman's Skateland / 1335 Central Ave., Albany, N.Y. / The largest, most beautiful skating rink in Northern New York featuring organ and novachord music at all sessions. Unobstructed floor surface and beginners rink. / - - - - - - / Correspondence"; at the top, in the center: "6848"; down the middle, vertically: "Published by Souder Calendar and Novelty Co., Albany, N.Y."; right-hand side: "Post Card" in large print with a postage stamp area in the upper right-hand corner.
