On the front of the postcard is an illustration in red of a man with holding an umbrella out in front of him while also wearing roller skates; the man seems to be using the umbrella almost like a sail in order to move; the man has cartoonishly large features and is wearing a striped coat; trees in background. In the bottom right-hand corner of the illustration is "Earl", the artist's signature, in red print. Above the illustration is "Roller Skating Craze" and below it is "If Nothing Happens I'll Blow in Soon", both in red print.
Everything on the back of the postcard is printed in red: "Post Card" in large print at the top; two sections: "This space may be used for Writing" and "This space for Address only"; upper right-hand corner: postage stamp area with "Place Stamp Here / United States and Canada One Cent / Foreign, Two Cents" within it.
