The front of the postcard is a black and white photograph of Little Joe Schallmo; Schallmo is posed with his arms out and has a black beanie on; next to him, in what appears to be black ink, text is written: "Little Joe Schallmo / Mascot / of / Palm Garden / Skating Rink / 18th and Main / St.". Circa 1910-1915.
Everything on the back is in faded black print: "Post Card" at the top in large print; two sections: "Correspondence Here" and "Name and Address Here"; postage stamp area in the upper right-hand corner with a border made out of the letters "A Z O" and triangles in the corners. There is some handwriting in pencil on the back that says "Crop at lines".
