Roller Skating Bears PostcardEntry/Object ID
1983.101.122Description
The front of the postcard is a black and white photograph of Lowe and Jonah Riggles and his skating bears in a Lowe's Rink advertising car; there are two bears in the car alongside the men; a sign that says "Skating Bears at the Rink To-Night" is hanging off the side of the car. Everything on the back is in faded black print: "Post Card" in large print at the two; two sections: "Correspondence" and "Address"; postage stamp area in the upper right-hand corner with the letters "A", "Z", and "O", as well as triangles in the corners, making up the area's border. Written on the back of the postcard in pencil is some context for the photograph on the front: "Ross & Jonah Riggles Skating Bears 1919".Collection
