The front of the postcard is a black and white photograph of Jonah Riggles and his skating bears in front of Lowe's Rink; there is a car on the left-hand side of the photo and one of the bears is standing up. Everything on the back is in faded black print: "Post Card" at the top in large print; two sections: "Correspondence Here" and "Name and Address Here"; postage stamp area in the upper right-hand corner with a border made out of the letters "A Z O" and triangles in the corners. There is handwriting in blue ink on the back of the postcard: left-hand side: "Jonah Riggles / 1919"; right-hand side: "Skating Bears / Hamilton Mo.".
