Ship's compass. Inscription on compass face reads, "US Navy BU. Ships. Mark 1 #3419 1941 The Lionel Corp." Original compass is in a newer box with original makers label attached to it. Small label reads: "U. S. Navy - BU. of Ships Mark 1 N Navy STD. 7 1/2 Illuminated Compass made by C. G. Conn LTD. Elkhart, IND., U. S. A."
