Celluloid Purse Fan and Compact, 1920-1940 This celluloid fan, with gilt paint and blue silk ribbon, is a whimsical and truly functional Art Deco tool. One end of the object conceals a miniature rouge, lipstick, and mirror, while the other holds the fan, which opens as the brad moves along its track.
