Heinz 57 Fan, 20th century 8 in. Paper with wooden sticks. This promotional fan is stamped “57 VARIETIES” on both guard sticks, and “MADE IN JAPAN” is stamped across the paper leaf at the back. When Mrs. Ladd collected the fan, she noted in her journal that it was” Given away Turner + Dingee.” The Josephine West Ladd Fan Collection, Neill-Cochran House Museum.
