Draped on the Eastlake-style bed in the Cochran Bedroom is a cotton and linen bedspread made of alternating panels of crochet and linen embellished with couched embroidery. Its provenance is unknown but it was gifted to the Neill-Cochran House Museum in 2007 by Ms. Ellen Zimmerman Johnson.
With its beautiful ivory color and gorgeous textures and stitching, this bedspread is the perfect compliment to the robust Eastlake bed.Acquisition
