European, 1780-1850. Ivory pique blades, hand painted paper both with raised gilded floral motifs now faded. Depicts biblical story of Moses helping the sheperdess daughters of Jethro water their sheep in Midian. Framed in Louis XVI style ribbon-topped shadowbox. Gift of Mrs. W. Foster Gillespie.
