American, late 19th century. Oak, feathered and faux grained to appear like mahogany. Full-length cupboard doors and fixed shelving across wardrobe interior. Feathering particularly noticeable around raised scrollwork on face of wardrobe. The upstairs of the Neill-Cochran House originally had no closets, making wardrobes essential storage furniture.
