French, ca. 1880. Ebonized table with gilt, brass trim around the surface edges. Top holds oval, Sevres style bleu celeste centerpiece depicting a pastoral scene with a man placing flowers in a young woman's hair, inspired by Francois Boucher's The Four Seasons: Spring. Gift of Leonidas T. Barrow.
