Description

Original NNRy conductors hat with silk hat band and embroidered lettering in gold. Hat is black fabric with leather brim, brim is green on bottom side. Band is black with gold band on top and bottom and wording "N.N.Ry. // Conductor" in center, unhemmed ends, originally held onto the hat with a straight pin. "United Cloth and Cap Makers of North America" union tag inside the leather band inside of hat, unknown manufacturer. Band has been removed from hat for preservation purposes. Circa 1910s-20s.
