This Meeting House became in a sense a community center. There was a large non-sectarian Sunday School called the Union Sunday School and a large Christina Endeavor Society. In fact, there was a thriving Young People's Society, as it was called, before there was such an organization is the C.E. Society. Having a young people's association connection with a church was very progressive at the time. When the Christian Endeavor Society was organized, the Young People's Society joined the C.E. movement and became the second D.E. Society in Westchester County. In 1937 in celebrated its 50th anniversary - the only C.E. Society in Westchester to have a continuous existence for half a century.
