Framed watercolor painting of Gedney Park duck pond, by James Renwick Thomson. James Renwick Thomson (1891-1968) was a noted architect who designed the Horace Greeley School (now the Robert E. Bell Middle School), the rectory of the Church of St. and St Mary, and the addition to the original Chappaqua Library (now the Community Center), as well as many local homes. He was also a pioneer member of the New Castle Planning Board from its foundation in 1929 until 1948.
