Sam at Queen's Park Sam L. Cureatz, M. P. P. Durham East Oshawa Office - 909 Simcoe Street North - Oshawa - 571-2084 Consistuency Office - 34A King Street West - Bowmanville - 623-6663 Winter 1985 Dear Friends, As your provincal representative for the riding of Durham East, I am pleased to have this opportunity to report tot you on activities of interest to the community. Looking back, it's hard to imagine the year could have been filled with more events, especially in provincial politics. This report has had to be changed several times in order to stay current. Despite all these changes my commitment to serve all the people of Durham East remains firm. I will continue to speak up for our interests at Queen's Park. Durham East has had a busy year. The village of Newcastle has seen the reconstruction of its main street. I am working with the north Oshawa community to see the Northview Community Centre have a recreation complex including at 50 to 60 metre pool for competitive use. In closing let me, along with my wife Kathy and our three sons Draydon, Rion and Collin, wiwsh you the best of the Holiday Season. Let us look forward to 1986 as a time of growth, prosperity and peace. Sincerely, Sam L. Cureatz
