Description

The Shaida ("Young Students") Dance Troupe performing in the 1976 Bicentennial celebration. The full troupe includes 200 dancers ages 14-23. Forty dancers and their chaperones toured Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and New York in the month of July. Their first stop was Newton Falls because of the hospitality shown to 1975 Belgian exchange student Stefan Cuvry.
